I was wondering if thats all you have to do...thats what I wanted to ask Tyler. Along with if there's any subtle things you could do without major tear down. I've already added the CMI's and would like to do a little more...Would like to see 80mph

Thanks everybody for the input. I am in the process of putting the 496 kit on my web-site with our 454-502 MPI kit. I also am going to work on a update kit this winter for the 525 also. The 496 kits work real well they are just expensive to do they require a lot of parts and head work. The exhaust is a big cost to the kit I have not tried doing a kit with the stock ex. We built a 496 for Robert Todd over in Pittsburgh,Pa with a Whipple charger and he is running the stock ex on it.

I have got over 320 hours on T/800 SC motors by Tyler Crockett. No major issues to date and we are still running the original valve springs. At the beginning of the season a compression test was conducted and all cylinders checked fine.

The motors are being pulled and sent to Tyler in November. We are working on a different package. The boat was ran this past weekend and performed perfectly.

Best speeds to date are low to mid 90's. I am running SSM V drives with transmissions. My set-up is capable of handling more power.
