No, he read on OSO trailering section that the cats trap air in the tunnel so the faster you go the lighter the load. Now that the boat weighs 10,000+ but on a 2 axle trailer it is only 5,000 lbs. divided by the 4 tires it is 2500 lbs per tire.
Since he only tows on flat ground through a school zone on weekends it is fine for around town towing.
