Glad your not my neighbor!! Actually the truth is the vertical shaft in the lower failed - nice clean break just above the pinion bearing. I'll post some pics of it later.
The stbd drive cratered due to operator (not owner) error - then this one failed (the shaft is dated 2002) the replacement shaft is bigger in the midsection - but the owner is very skeptical about sticking the fuel to it. They are some bad boys though - 528's with dual superchargers - sweet!!!
We'll see how it goes this weekend.
