I have not done anything with T-shirts. They are a logistical PITA, and someone has to sit at the table and babysit them all night. If someone wants to take this on (in short order), let me know.

Sharon just called the Omni and they still have rooms for $149.00. Room block ended 1/05. We are booked, see ya there.

Cost: Cover charge to get in the party will be $25.
This will cover pool tables, facility, servers, event costs, door prize tickets and appetizers (enough to fill up on).
Dinners and cash bar will your own responsibility, (if I tried to include this it would get too expensive and un-proportionate).

For some of you, this will be a haul, but this will be ABSOLUTELY worth the effort. This party planning gets very sticky, and especially so with such a widespread crowd.
Remember, I am not doing this for a profit.
Any leftover cash will be used to defer the costs of any more food, and anything above that will be donated to a fitting charity. Please don't complain about the cover charge. This is not a lot of money for what you are getting. There will be giveaways/door prizes and other incentives, (see below).

-AS OF RIGHT NOW, I HAVE 20 RACERS SIGNED UP. THIS IS NOT THE 50 THAT I WAS EXPECTING. I WILL MAKE A DECISION ON 24 JANUARY ON HOW TO ADJUST THE RACING EVENT. I ALREADY HAVE A NON-REFUNDABLE DEPOSIT ON THE TRACK RENTAL. IF YOU HAVE COMMITTED AN RSVP TO RACING, YOU WILL BE RACING.
I MAY ADJST THE TIMEFRAME OF THE TRACK RENTAL AND PRICE TO RUN SLIGHTLY TO COVER THE EVENT. FOR THOSE OF YOU WHO ARE PASSING ON THIS, YOU DON’T KNOW WHAT YOU ARE MISSING!!
-There will be no drinking of alcohol before or during this event. You must be sober to race.
-Racers will need to be on time AND need to drive/race responsibly. Variances on either will cut into other racers’ race times.
-You MUST RSVP with the FULL NAME of each racer.
-This event is open for Racers aged 16 and up. Ladies are ENCOURAGED to race as well. There is also plenty of spectator space.
-This is NOT kid stuff. These karts run 40-50 mph INDOOR, in a full 4 wheel concrete drifting slide; 1 inch of the ground—IT’S A RUSH.
