I agree, a tall ship is one beautiful lady to look at. We had over 40 tall ship in Halifax summer 2004 and it was a sight to look at. Made me wonder then If i'd like to get a sailboat and become a WAFI but after a nanosecond of thinking, I knew better. If there's no engine involved, that's not a sport that I'd like. But mind you all, if BMW would give me the use of the Oracle for a few months, I might like it but still, too much effort pulling on rope, rigging and the like. Isn't it better to just have to turn a key and go? I think so. more time for a refreshing beverage.

Why are you guys so down on blow boaters? I've been a power boater and a blow boater. Some blow boaters hate power boaters because of the engine noise. Me.... I like both the slow pace and sound of the wind in sails and the open exhaust and speed of an offshore boat. Call me crazy.
