Sorry to say the Vegas event is over, but what a show it was. Everything from the beautiful landscape, seeing hoover dam, breakfast at the Dam resturant ( in Hooter's). and without a doubt some great racing, many thanks to OSS, AMF, Hooter's Hotel and Casino, POPRA, OFFSHORE ONLY,
and all the teams that put forth the effort to make this happen. I hope this race happens again.

Alot of people worked hard to pull a race off somwhere different. Why can't you just say congrats guys.
This is a BIG step forward for ALL racers SBI/OSS/POPRA/OPA. visability will help bring in team sponsorships and League sponsorships. It's funny (just an observation) almost ALL the negativity comes from guys not in a seat right now.
I will tell you this. The "DRY" run went excedingly well and I would expect some good news concerning next years commit to brodcasts
Bottom line. The OSS/OPA/Popra Worlds in Destin Will Be brodcast LIVE. If you have a product or service you would like to promote to the viewers get in touch with AMF/OSO/Talk Ofshore and they can give you the details.
The feed was pushed into the Hooters Casino on all the monitors.
Big congrats to Hooters, Bud Sellect, Mojo on the Nat. Championship wins.
Oh and thanks to Joe Scro,Stickerboy and Brett for helping me clean up at Black Jack...damn...those guys are good!

Give me a friggin break! I'm not a hater! I love boating and I love racing, but geezzzz! Call it what it is! I guess it's my marketing background. Thanks to everyone putting all the work into the event, but why have an "offshore event" on a lake? I just don't get it.....but I am willing to be educated!
Don't get me wrong....I'm not about to jump into a race seat, but I certainly know many people that will make an effort to watch races and continualy buy parts to support the sick habbit called "offshore boating".........

My take on it is this.
It's not about the water you run on anymore, but the equipment that is being used.
They are racing with Offshore Boats which would entitle them to call them offshore races.
I am sure many from the Great Lakes would agree that if a race was brought there, they wouldn't want to call it Lake racing....
Now if I make no sense with this at all, just look at what time I am posting this.......
