In the face of the ridiculous prices of the new ones, it's not a suprize to see high used asking numbers.Originally Posted by CAP071

both new and used
Plus the fact that some people put next to nothing down on a new boat so they expect not to take a hit when selling their boat

I saw you guys out by the bridge on your way back in. I guess h didn't take you around the hook into the ocean? If he did you would have bought the boat already! Originally Posted by berns29scarab

Honestly Bern, I think you're going to regret getting a boat that's any smaller and the price that Jamie want's for that boat that is a killer deal!
Pantera is nice but the Phantoms have a really low freeboard.
Bernie,
I think you need to determine what you really want here
Your spectrum of boats is all over the place
At least it will be fun being able to keep up with ....or beat you next year

It's a nice used boat but 115K for a single engine 28 foot boat?

That big empty space in the back is a shame...i'm sure she'll be fully detailed b4 ya put her up for the winter right. And who knows, if i end up with that fastec i know how to make those 502's howl with a few bolt ons...Originally Posted by Tom A.

actually the only reason i'd buy the fastec is due to the deal i could get on her. a lil elbow grease over the winter and theres definately some $$$ to be made with that one. Spring comes, splash her and up for sale she goes, unless i get used to a 73mph ocean runner of course. have an offer in on something right now and if it comes thru my search will be over...will keep you all posted...give ya a lil hint...best of both worlds, great rough water boat, plenty of room as a pleasure boat AND an awsome class 4 (old P-4 class) boat

That big empty hole will be filled with a JC Performance 750+ motor if the boat doesn't sell. Originally Posted by berns29scarab
