I do question the quality of all boats, in general. A lot can be covered with flashy paint and polished metal under the hatch.

I've owned too many, for too many decades, to trust a logo.

CarCrash.......are you in SoCal? If so.....I invite you to the SCOPE run in two weeks on a Formula. Since you have a thread going on Formula vs. Fountain.....why not take a real ride to Catalina? :D

Have not picked it up yet, so I cant give you accurate speeds. The model I tested did 74 something. I changed a few things and went with the lighter layup, 6" exhuast vs 5" and a 1/4" higher X dimesion with different props and the goal is 80+mph. Thanks for the compliments, looking forward to the KW PR. Jeff
