Default Just purchased Cary 50 with red hull

Just purchased Cary 50 with red hull in CA and moved it to VA. Does anyone know any history on this boat? It has 4 turbo yanmars with CAL 500 drives.

Hey poolsinc1...

Welcome to OSO. A Cary huh, neat history on Carys throughout the years. Where in VA are you? I live in Arlington and boat in the Potomac and Chesapeake Bay.

They are fixed surface drives, a Sonny Miller creation we think.

It does well in big seas without cavitation.

Isn't that Ed Herbst old boat ?
If so it was in Newport beach for many years.

Don't know for sure but we do know that it was once in Newport Beach. Do you know if he was the one who did the repower? We bought it in San Rafeal, CA.
