What is there out of Miami or Lauderdale for trips to the Bahamas?
Planning on a week trip to southern Fl and thought about a day trip over.

there are NO know boat trips from the east coast going to the bahamas?
I am not talking about personal boats, but a day cruise? or a couple days?

There are a few remaining small sail boats but nothing nice. SOLAS routes for small charter vessels now coupled with MARSEC requirements not to mention the gulf stream have made the Fl/Bahama water trade virually impossible. I have yet to see a succesful biz plan as eveyone I know of has failed.
Your choices are limited to cruise ships, charter yachts, or embarking in the Bahamas.
