never sank it spun out in the st pete race in 78, there was a tear in the left side of the hull from the rub rail to about 3 inches above the water line. it also had a crack in the left side of the deck, but the 38 larry smith scarabs were prone to craking there. the tear in the hull was fixed in 78 by larry smith, its held up ever since. the crack in the deck had 3 half azzed repairs stacked on top of each other, i ground all that crap out and reglassed it, and reinforced the crap out of the area. it should be good to go, i plan on running the hell out of it on the big stuff
