Back in 1999-2001 when Factory 2 was the hottest class going The 35 Fountain and Formula were the boats to race. The 35 Fountain Lightning's out ran the 353 Forumlas in rough water every single time. There was some very close racing back then.

Does Skip Braver(insert any other Co. owner name here if needed) have a polygraph attached to his wrist everytime he talks about his boats?
Fountain sells the most, does the most R@D, and quite often wins the most races. Sounds pretty impressive to me.
Technology gets better every year, and a lot of older heavier boats will get stomped on as a result.
Just the way it is.
