How soon you forget they made an attempt to run in his Key West Worlds last year only to be denied along with a few other boats, Donzi & Firewater come to mind.

Oh yes..... with a boat that had to be kept afloat with shrink wrap because the bottom delaminated in testing. Idled across the start line and turned back to the trailer without even completeing a 1/2 mile let alone one lap...

As far as Vegas, it was 8 laps out of 10 for being out of fuel.

With several boats running out of fuel, an investigation is pending...

2nd Lap in Vegas: 3.64 miles per hour FASTER than FURY...
Then it appears either Joe was playing with them for a few laps or fuel delivery was an issue..
But the 8th lap 100.18 avg mph to Fury's 96.83...

3.64 MPH fASTER ISNT SAYING MUCH CONSIDERING THEY WERE LITE ON FUEL AND FURY HAD ENOUGH TO FINISH. YOU WOULD THINK THAT FOR 1 YEAR BUILDING THIS THING THEY WOULD AT LEAST PUT A FUEL GAGUE IN IT.
