Re: New Doug Wright 35 Light speed Completed...
I know for a fact that Dennis is still dialing his boat in and has more to get out of it then what he showed at Loto. This hull with 2.5's on the back can run in the teens with the right set up. It has been done already.

Re: New Doug Wright 35 Light speed Completed...
A 39 MTI scl ran 137mph with 525's what is your point. I understand you like skaters, All 3 are great boats.huge difference is price.

Re: New Doug Wright 35 Light speed Completed...
Loto is not a fair judge for the top end of an outboard cat. Outboards take a while to get to max speed because you dont have the torque a big block has. The DW's I know are running high teens with 2.5's.

Plus.... I remember a year or so ago at a certain poker run you were driving the baddest 46 turbine Skater on the planet, and you were having a hell of a time just keeping up with a certain 36 Nor-tech I was throttling. Then to top it off, you show up at the poker run party with pink socks on. There's better ways of getting attention then to show up in pink socks. HA HA Marc. If your on the other side of FL next weekend, I'm stopping by Dougs shop. Congrats on the new boat. You definatly got the right man on the job. I'll be in South Florida late this week testing the Platinum and MTI for the Destin races. Give me a call when you get in and come check out the boats. Regard's Marc Would spilling a "goose and cranberry " turn your socks pink :evilb: |

Paul dePoo and I ran 117 through the Chattonooga Mile run last year. We tested at 119 the day before. The was in a 32 DW with STOCK 2.5's with 8200 boxes. This was on fresh water.

"I know for a fact Dennis is still dialing his boat in"
"Not aware of a 32 being at Loto." "Everything I was quoted was passed along to me by multiple people." "I love this site! Where else can you learn so much about your own boat." "No one will touch you at Loto" "We still believe 130's is attainable with 525's" "They thought it would get 150" "Grant said it was very fast" "Probably capable" You guys are funny. |
