Great Video-Check it out
I found this on the another site and thought I would share it

Re: Great Video-Check it out
Very cool video... apart from one thing perhaps. I saw only one boat where occupants wore PFDs. Not very clever, especially in cases where the driver is the only occupant. Sh*t happens pretty fast out there...

Re: Great Video-Check it out

Re: Great Video-Check it out
That is a old COPS video, before the Club was switched to its current name Chicago Powerboat Club.

Boy was that nice to see.. It'll be awhile before I'm able to go boating again in N.J. with winter comming... I miss those warm summer days already....

Re: Great Video-Check it out
Pretty sure that in the first close ups, the all white boat is lucidee's 41 Apache and I think the cig is "Ruckus"(38 TG w/900's) that used to be owned by Blonde Cig Chick.
|
Re: Great Video-Check it out
It's Magnum Mark's 41 APACHE and Ruckus.I know that for sure
|
Re: Great Video-Check it out
Also, I think Rampage is a member. Best Revenge is a 32AT that used ot be owned bt ActiveThundeTodd.

Re: Great Video-Check it out
Yeah...and if you watch the "House of Pain" part of the video, you'll see the EX-director of the club attempting to drive a boat with a bolster seat shoved up his coolie.

While Dan's giving driving lessons to Reggie, Who's that bald headed guy in the purple shirt in the backround? I'm having a hard time remembering all the names. :(

MM does'nt do poker runs, and that was'nt a poker run either. Just a fun day out on the water with a bunch of friends, having the lunch destination on the other side of the lake. Sommers, you remember Roger 1 running that Checkmate? He always showed up no matter how rough the lake was. His balls are about as big as his arms. :evilb: And he "never" complained about how rough it was. Can't wait to go for a ride with him in that 38 Cig he's building, don't know if my balls'll be big enough. |

We had a run before this one but there were no helicopters involved. I remember that Dan invited me along. That was a long day. I went from South Haven, Mi to Hammond, In to Chicago, IL up to Racine, WI. After lunch I went back to Hammond to drop my sons off then back to South Haven. All in my 28' Checkmate. After that run Dan told my wife that I needed a bigger boat. Thanks Dan. :drink: After that run the helicopter runs started, untill someone  started screwing the pilots and photographers out of money. I understand that scoundrel is gone now. :evilb: Good old days :D |

Frank, I remember seeing some serious air out of your boat a time or two. One of my favorite parts on the funs runs was watching you pass me like I was standing still. If you want to ride in a sick fast V, take a ride with Frank! :drink: |

Re: Great Video-Check it out
Honestly, I put on over 300 miles that day and I did get a bigger boat. :D
Just ask Dan  |
Re: Great Video-Check it out
It's not nice to screw people out of money. Especially ones that can drop bowling balls on your house. :D
