Thats the house, a carriage house and a boat house and probably 500' of frontage on the river. This is Mr Crazy Ice Cream Fountain's house. Prop runs from the south side tree line and dock to the white gravel driveway to the north. Beautiful old victorian, spent $1.3 mil just in the kitchen. Thats right across the river from my parents place. I love how he cut in for his lift. I have never seen his cig in the water though. the property used to be that, plus the house next to it with a huge old mansion on it that was falling apart and a caved in bulkhead. sold for about 250k over a decade ago. Worth over 20x that now.

I just moved to Jacksonville this week, but that house is about 2 blocks from my old condo. (still own the condo, considering renting it out. If you're interested in a beachfront condo in Belmar, let me know. )..... I've seen the Cig on the water. It usually doesn't go out for long. That house is a bit much for me with all the statues and whatnot, but still pretty cool. I like the one to the right of it much better.

Right , when you buy the houses next door and knock em flat so nobody is close to you like he did! Thats a unlimited budget. Mr. V couldn't be that close to the ocean , He'd have to give up an excuse not to run the boat and he'd never see Panther running in the bay. |

The property he (John M) owns on Rumson Rd isn't bad either, gives him a nice "little" place to keep the ponies, he didn't need to knock anything down there. Prop is damn near a 1/4 mile in each direction. He kept the painted ponies there, too bad he didn't bring in a few buffalo from his herd in VA. Was afraid what would happen if a few got through the fence. That strip of land is the best around, great view of the ocean and NYC yet you have the river for your boats. Only problem is the EPA really restricts what you can do there. No way I could build the marina like I have in my back yard now.
