Have seen Raylars ads for 496 hp increases, does anyone know what the costs are for the 525hp and 625hp upgrade, does anyone else have upgrade kits out there right now.

at the Lauderdale show we talked to a Merc H.P. guy and was told that if you bolt on CMI sport tubes you can make 500hp and if you do it when the boat is being built by the builder you can still have the 5 yr warr.

hmm...now those CMI's are good for 75 hp.

I thought the numbers were a little out there myself. All I can say is that is what he told us. This was asked because I am looking at building a 33 with 2X 496HOs XRs. he said you can only use CMI tubes to keep warr.

would the raylar upgrade with cmi's push the hp to 600 and 675, because the headers add 75hp.

ya got me I don't know if I believe the 75 outa the pipes.I also wonder if the bottom end of the motor will hold up with that HP
