A poker run is not a race! We cruised at 45 to 50. :D Truthfully, Stu has always been about saftey. His pace boat keeps us at about 75 to 80. Once we got to the ocean and spread out we picked up the pace a bit but nothing crazy. |

Gino
Are you getting the engines ready for Joey's new motors. Congratulations on a good run. Jeff |

Re: Now for the good news!
Great, I have a question I wanted to ask you.

Re: Now for the good news!
He would have went 170mph but the rag in his gas hole slowed him down!

Re: Now for the good news!
Are you still running the 1:35 gears? What RPM were you turning?
I am bummed we could not make Key West this year. Next time. |

That sounds like a terrible personal issue. |

I am bummed we could not make Key West this year. Next time. We bumped the boost to about 12 lbs and changed the rev limiters. I have to tell you, the motors were screaming. I was just waiting for one of them to blow up. While watching it climb, over 150 every mile an hour feels like a lot more. Very cool but a little scary. The attitude of the boat never changed. Still rode like it was on rails. Just scary anticipating an engine problem. |
