Thumbs up Duramax

I picked up my 2002 chev crewcab 4wd dually duramax/allison truck last thursday and I have one word for it, AWESOME!!. What a difference from my 97 6.5 td, I can't wait to pull the apache with it. Now it's time to accessorize this beast.

Congrats. I have just under 30k miles on my 01' Duramax Crew cab short box. I love it.
It gets twice the mileage of my 99' 454 and has twice the power! There are some pretty good hills on the way to the lake it doesnt even down shift out of overdrive my old truck would drop to 3rd gear. The allison trans is great too. I really like the way it down shifts in the tow/haul mode it saves the brakes. Good Luck.

Wally, I found two companies that make exhaust systems for the duramax in one of the new four wheel mags, I will bring it in tomorrow. Ike.

Hi 290PQ,

No problems with the clearance, as long as you install the tire on the stock rim. They look great!! Not too big, not too small
