I've never been in an Apache but I have been in a big power #6 drive Top Gun in 4 to 6 footers with someone who has a lot of experience in a 41 Apache and they said they'd rather have the apache.
When it comes time to spend my own money...I'll take the Cigarette
But I want one of my friends to have an Apache

Here is an 38 Cig next to a 42 Fountain.
Notice the only part that sticks out is the beak. I don't see 4 feet.
Oh ya and as far as The Cigarette Vs Apache. They are the only 2 offshore boats I would own. Old School Kick A$$

I'd take either although I already have one brand!
I was rafted up with a Top Gun over the summer and the Freeboard on my 36' was quite a bit higher, it almost made the TG look smaller until I saw the extra two feet up in the nose.
