Hey Crazy, glad to hear you had 15 years with a wonderful loving pet. Think of how he made those years so much better than they would have been without him at your side.

My little buddy is 12 now and starting to show his age.

Animals are the best. So tough when they have to leave us. It's always horrible for a while, but then the good memories push in front of the sadness, and they'll make you smile till you're old and grey....At least that's how it's been with me.....Sorry for your loss.

Thanks for all the kind words and thoughts.
Many members may remember that we had two dogs from the same litter, Megan and Pistol Pete. Pistol Pete's full AKC name was Bandy's Pistol Pete. We never knew Megan's real name because she was supposed to be destroyed due to congenital health problems.
So, when we flew up to Cadillac MI in March of 1992 to see the breeder's available pups, there was Petey, a 6-month-old pup that had been raised by human hands because his mother had cast him from the litter. And there was the pup they called Squeaky which we named Megan.
We lost Megan three years ago from the congenital heart and lung problems.
About a year ago Petey started suffering the same issues so we knew it was a matter of time and we tried to treasure every day spent with him. Everyone knows that Petey went everywhere with us.
I was able to be home all week and spent most of that time with Petey, just because I really liked sitting here on the couch with him tucked close to me, just me and my little boy,,,,,,
Thanks from Barb and me for thinking of us during this difficult time.

So very sorry for your loss. Petey was a great bud, and has many cool adventures under his "coller" ! One of the toughest dogs in the marina!. RIP

Take care, Patti and Mark.
