Depends on the step? I would not want a bunk that did not fit the bottom.I would want it inbetween the steps suporting the bottom evenly. On my Hustler my Myco doesent fit perfectly but I guess its the best ya can get?

I bought a standard bunk trailler and notched the bunks to fit the boat. Took off the carpet, made a few measurements and cut the bunks. We also had a travel lift to pick up and set down the boat on the trailler. Made it a bit easier.

Another option is to bolt a 2x4 flat on top of your bunks(countersunk bolts of course). Thats what i did on my lift for my single step executioner when i had it. Im pretty sure you have a 2" step just like i did. That way you dont hack the trailer up.

You should have some center support under the bow/cabin area. Can you post some pics. of your trailer for us to see?
