I will NEVER forget my second year up in Maine we were just lying in bed watching the elevenoclock news. I was nearly asleep and I heard the words "Sunshine Skyway" and just bolted up in bed. I was just speechless. I couldn't comprehend to Terri just how high that bridge was. Everytime I travel over it now, all I can do is remember that night...

That was definitely a rough one. The collision caused several cars and a Greyhound bus to fall 150 feet killing 35 people.

I believe there were four sheriff's deputies or retired sheriff's officers or something like that in the car right at the edge. They were heading to some kind of Breakfast of some type.

When they got out of the car they crawled back to safety, not daring to stand up... Don't blame them there....

The only survivor was driving a pick up that landed on the bow of the ship....
