I need to know where i can buy race gas in the Venice area.I will go up to Sarasota if i have to.I have a little toy down there that requires the "Good stuff"

Be prepared. In october I filled up the 46 Cig I brought down there for the poker run. 268 gals of 110, $1600. They get $6 a gal for that stuff. Up here outside of Chicago, I pay $3.50 a gal for it.

If you call Sunoco, they should be able to tell you where the closest station is to where you need to be.

10th street gas station is a good 30 minuets from Venice. Take I 75 North to Fruitville exit go west untill you hit the Quay/Hyatt right turn North 2 blocks to 10th street. Gas station is across the street from the public boat ramp. Just talked to a friend with a big motor and he said there is a "Race Track gas station" on Bee Ridge Rd.( Sarasota) one exit south of Fruitville that has 110. Should save you 10 minuets or more. You might call them ahead of time for accessibility and quanity. Called info this is the number they gave me 941-379-8602.
