I love the directors commentary talking about the Donzis- with "Hank Aronow" having started the offshore boat industry. Also the relate that cigarette was the first, followed by Donzi.

I guess poetic license extends beyond the script.

That show was a waste of time. One minute of a Freeze Frame race DVD and an original Miami Vice episode is way better. They should have cut the PG sex scenes and left in the boat race.

Race scenes o.k. but didn't tie much together..
Was better on my 50 than at the movies.

I just watched it last night. Took a lot longer because I had to reverse and watch parts over to try and understand what they were saying. Was the background noise loud and the voices muffled or something? Didn't look like very good quality picture and sound to me, and I'm not really picky.

Overall it was an okay movie. I can see how the boaters from here that took their boats and spent a few days, then not even shown in the movie would be upset. They definitely left it open for a sequel.

Are there any other boats besides MTI and Donzi in it?

Only the race scene at the beginning which is about 8-10 min long.

Miami Vice trivia question:

Love the blue flames shooting out the tailpipes of the Ferrari.
How many miles on the F-430 in the Bentley chase down scene?
