The 38' was always a nice boat. It was the first Nor-Tech that I personally owned and I really liked it.
However, we semi-retired the model for a number of reasons. A couple of them would be one: That size range has a very competitive price point and a relatively small custom company like ours has a hard time making a decent profit.
Another was with all of the other models we have now we ran out of room to build it. Even the new 39 has to be rigged at our other facility.
So basically there's nothing wrong with the boat, it's just hard to justify keeping it in the line up.

No Offense but other than the 43's thats the best looking nortech. I like it better than the new 39's. No idea how it runs but it looks the part of an offshore boat.

I loved the lines on the 38' from the get-go, and much more so than the new 39' (no offense to anyone). This boat has such a great stance in the water, where-as the 39' sits kinda "flat" w/ a tall transom.

Damn - I'm going home and cutting open my mattress, my son can go to a community college and he'll be just fine!

That 38 is defintely very cool! I love the triple front bolster and dash layout.

You must have to crunch down on the left side under the dash to get into the cabin.
