making a Merc 700 from a 600 ?
 

Is it possible to upgrade a Merc 600 SCI to a Merc 700 SCI
It is almost the same engine (Except the drive)
Which parts are different, ECM,intercooler ?
Costs ?

Good question. Could entail nothing more than a blower pulley and ECM change. Hopefully someone who knows for sure pipes in.

There were some other changes made to beef up some internal parts. The Merc web site may have some of that info on it.

Intercooler and pulley should jack you up to 700, reflash also

From what i hear they are pretty much the same motor ...if some one on the inside could get the soft ware they would make aloota money
