It looks to me like:
1) the engines were trimed out too high
2) caused the boat to start porposing
3) Driver started to turn while the bow was too high out of the water because of the porposing
4) when the bow came down and grabed water the boat was aready turning forcing the stern to pass the bow.
What could have been done to avoid driver error:
Lower trim once the boat starts porposing.
Slow down to a point were the bow does not leave the water making turns to avoid spinouts.
