Fountain40,
Those are Whipples in the Hustler. That thing is so silly fast its not funny. The motors are Young Performance 925's. One made 967hp and the other 963. They are 598 ci with single 3.3 Whipples. The drives are ASD 6's We have been in the teens with it but only for a second since it is out of control. Who knows how fast it can go. No one has balls big enough to run it that hard. It runs about 65 at 3000 rpm and 94 at 4000 rpms and its never been to 5000 rpm. I think it still needs a little more prop, but we don't want to lose any acceleration. It will actually out run the gps speedo. If you accelerate hard and back off, the speed will continue to go up before it starts going back down. The owner only wanted to be able to cruise at 70 or 80 and not work the motors.
The 38 Stryker has a pair of Young Performance 750 carb motors. That was the first run for it. We preceeded to beat the snot of it all day. The whole boat just got re-rigged and updated. Definetly one of the best rigged, best equipt, nicest and fastest Strykers you will ever see.
The cat is a 24 king Cat with a Young Performance 502 blower motor. Its pretty mild, making only about 700 hp.
For everyone that was there, thank you for the best day of boating that I have had in a long time, maybe ever. Can't wait to do it again.
By the way Matt, excellent job!!!
Eddie

Here's a short clip of the Young Performance 750's in the 38 Stryker. I have a few more but they are to big. I'll work on getting them up shortly. Eddie

I have more video where Eddie and I were filming Mean Streak in the 388 Hustler. I need to get it to Game on to edit and up load. That was one of the best boating days I have ever had. What an awesome AWESOME day!! Thanks again to Eddie Young for making my boat go faster than it ever has before!!.....and we haven't even got it dialed in yet!
