Yes it does. Seems like what contributes to a better ride, being further back, might contribute to getting wetter in a cross wind.

Anyone who has run hard on Lake Michigan in big waves has stuffed. Waves seem straight up and down sometimes. NK

I have rideen/driven my buddies 35 Executioner.
I have found that it is a great riding - very dry boat. We have been out in some nasty stuff too!

The flair at the bow of a Fountain does help displace water out to the side.

On my 27, I have noticed that the flare in the bow pushes water out to the sides and prevents some spray when in swells. With a crosswind, though, i get some spray.

It is my firm and profound belief that any Water Fountain will get you wet ,,

I will tell you all that my 36 Concept was a much wetter boat than my 29 Fountain. My 38TE Fountain is very dry. I have never been wet yet in it.

once you start using your 42 Fountain, you will throw rocks at your ,(any )Baja, there is NO comparision between the two boats!!
