Dean,
I raced with Nicky in 1996 in his 30 Shadow. I may have met you at Lake X as well. You are always worthy of my wheel dude! Let me know if you ever make it up here and you can be my wheel man!

NFE,

VERY INCONSIDERATE! 50 degrees here today! Must be all that GLOBAL WARMING that isn't happening! Anyway, hoping to go to Canada riding in 2 weeks. It is colder where we ride and supposed to snow today. Let's hope so. I have to get out to Colorado and do some back bowl riding and mountain riding. Wanna be a guide?

It's too bad you can't put some people on an ignore list so their posts don't even show up on your computer. But then that would be self censorship. I'll just have to try ignoring on my own.

There is an ignore feature. Click on person's profile in question and in the lower right click on "Add to ignore list"

Shane,
Were you driving when the Pennzoil Shadow stuffed at Key West? Wasn't the same year that Jerry Starks and some other guy from Chicago got run over in their 30 Shadow cat, by "NOMAD/Zero Defect"? Not that it was Nomad's fault or anything! As I understood it is, Jerry's boat broke, and they were trying to make into the infield, and they turned in front of Nomad by mistake?
Man, that seems like a long time ago, doesn't it.

Everyone is entitled to their own opinion. Somehow, we have gotten to the point where everyone is entitled to believe that only their opinion is right.

Bummer. There will never be a shortage of ignorance, laziness or stupidity.

I wonder how many people in Florida who have to use manatee-killing boats to "work and provide" are going to be negatively affected, but won't be able to use Crash's arguments to defend their way of making a living.

Sorry, folks; I just couldn't resist.

Dean,

Yup I was driving when we stuffed. We were chasing KAMIKAZE for the lead and actually passed him. We tripped and stuffed. I believe it was the year before that the accident with Zero Defect occurred. Definitely NOT the Worlds in 96. That Shadow was one hell of a rough water boat. What really sucks is that Kamikaze turned out to have ILLEGAL engines and we would have won by a mile over the boat behind us! Oh well, that's racin' right?

Shane,
I've talked at legnth with Larry Wurtzberger, (Sp?) who owns Fun Marine in the Port of Canaveral, who, along with George Linders, built alot of Shadow Cats! Larry was adamant about it being a Great rough water cat. Heck, for about 2 years, Larry had a set of molds in the corner of his warehouse, he was always trying to sign me up to build one, but $$ was an issue. I wonder where the molds went, hmmmm....

Shane, get your tail out here, we'll show you some country that is almost beyond belief. Oh yea, the only way to get to it is either by sled or helicopter(unless you want to back country ski 50 miles, no thanks). No one else for miles and miles. Untracked snow that if certain groups had their way would be off limits to anyone. Sorry, couldn't help the "dig". I have a problem with access being denied when it is not impacting the environment in any way(snowmomible tracks are very damaging to the ecosystem ya know).
