B19 RUNAWAY video
I just posted some video from 1998 of my 28 foot Magnum race boat B-19 RUNAWAY.
This was a fun run we did in summer of 1998 in Barnegat Bay NJ. I am in the center
driving, my long time friend and racing partner Chuck Burke is on the throttles, and our
navigator, Steve Pollok can be seen in his Cig TG, as he runs with us. The speed can be
appreciated about 2:22 in on part-1. The video is from the route 37 bridge, south to
Manahawkin, and back north to Forked River, where I lived at the time.
Of all of the boats I have owned through the years, this one is the only one that I really
really miss. I would love to buy her back and restore her, but she has been to badly
stripped, and is now overseas.
Video part 1 www.youtube.com/watch?v=U-EbIsyoV00
Video part 2 www.youtube.com/watch?v=09ky3kCkb08
Other photos and video are at my web site www.dkorinc.homestead.com under general
picture gallery & video clip gallery.

Tantrum - yes, presently building 30 Skater. Will be at Skater Wed Jan 10 to do final rigging.
Air TIme - dynos sheets are with pro charger stage III, M3, 5300rpm, 728hp at 4.11 lbs boost. You can easily get similar HP without super chargers. My 374cid race motors made almost 680hp, single modified carb, ported race intake, ported heads, large valves, high lift/duration cam. Lots of good info on how to get HP here on OSO.

Hey Frank, ah the good ole days when we used my boat as the water taxi to get the runaway back and forth from your house. Video sure brings back some great memories, thanks. Steve

Re: B19 RUNAWAY video
Steve,
I miss those days. We were living the dream. Someone on your boat had a video camera, what ever happened to the footage?
If the race boat was not so badly stripped, and still here in the US, I would but her back and restore her. She is the only boat that I really, really miss.
I visited Chuck and Typhoon Marine for about a hour this past August, I had to be in NJ for some court business.
Nest Tue Jan 10, I am going to Skater for the final riggin on my latest project with them. I will take plenty of pictures and post them next week.
Always goods to hear from you, come visit me here in paradise.
