Default New York to Nantucket Race

I have been thinking this would be a fun long distance race would anyone be intrested. Race to New York then hangout in Nantucket for the weekend. Sort of like the old miami-nassau race. Any intrest?

maybe stop out in front of newport and us mass, and RI guys could hook up, but you need mufflers there I think ,

Sounds good just to let you know Nantucket is a bunch of C bags (sorry for the reference) i need a sewing machine to get in there if not they dont let you in the harbor i was talking to my dad about it but im down, ill meet up with you at the tip of Newport if thats cool

Oak bluff is de.f a better chose plus more to do for the type of crowd they were are plus i know it like the back of my hand i have gone there every year for the past 10 years plus i have a couple friends over there

I heard this year[ 06 ] they wanted muffs on the cigs too maybe if we call ahead let them know we are coming get a permit for the day or over night.

Maybe lol anyway i can callen Karen (dock master of OB) ask here the deal and whats going on love to spend and over night there run circut ave a little ya know and do some bridge jumping anyway keep me posted

Pulled into OB last year in a 42 OL WITH MUFFLERS, and still got the cold shoulder. There weren't alot of boats in there at the time and they gave us the worst spot you could ask for. Those bulkhead, stern to docks aren't very performance boat friendly.I have found friendlier service, beleive it or not in Edgartown!
