pleasure skater 399v will not run 110. looked at buying one last year, but at 450k for 525's just too much $, will run 98-100mph per dealer, believe the race boat runs 106-110.

Jeff, Hard to believe the Skater is that fast, especially after sitting on the shore at Key West and watching the race boats with 525s NOT going that fast in ideal conditions (sea level, cool weather, waves about right). Don't buy the Fountain, if I see it I'll probably want to trade you for it.

for an overall score , i would say the beak has it..if you are buying new ,it;s cheaper than the O.L , and the skater, not sure of the donzis$, so from thta stand point your bound to lose less..as far as speed i drove three of them. 97 on its best day, 94 almost every time out.

water conditions do not slow the boat at all, over the donz and o.l. the suspension seats are just all that.

besides have you ever seen any of the other three hang like this.

I voted for the 39 GTX....price no option. I myself am trying to get a 38zrcomp or 36 Gladiator used.

As a side note Custom, knowing you owned and loved the 38 comp, alittle birdie told me Donzi will build a new 38 comp with their quad step race bottom......
