Default Life Jackets

I would like to have anyone's opinion on which life jackets are the safest out there, my husband and I own the mustang survival jackets, even though they are comfortable I'm not so sure they are as safe as others....any input would be appreciated.

Thank-you
Tanya

any suggestions on which ones to get (namebrand)?
Do they make life jackets for adults that have the strap that go between the legs?

There are models available from Lifeline that have leg straps. Get a hold of "Too Old" here on line and he will get you hooked up.

Lifelines!

Make sure if thats what you have/wear, that you keep a set of the cheapy orange approved vests on board, as the Lifelines are NOT USCG approved, and if they want to write you up for something that would be a place for them to start.

Why aren't Lifelines USCG approved??
Just curious, as it seems to be the choice of most that are really running hard and want to be safe in the event of an incident at high speed.
