Would it matter what angle a boat hit a wave? Instead of submarining, slaping it or hitting it mid section?

Bow acceleration can produce between 3000- 5000 lbs per square foot at 60 mph . If the boat was built light [ no full length stringers to the bow ] , it may snap the nose off .Lots of scenarios .
Here's a drawing showing the distribution of force on a typical V hull .Just my 0.02 cents .

Production PowerPlays have full length stringers.

Please share the helicopter's footage of that launch, I'm sure I speak for most everyone when I say we would all love to see that.

Water depth - 20 feet
Tabs - down all the way

Location - 3.8 miles from the cut or .8 mile offshore

Just an FYI

May have been trying to keep the bow in for a smoother ride for the girls. Unfortunately that would set up a nasty stuff if you trip it on a large wave :(

I am guilty of doing this from time to time but no more I guess.
