graphics not my favorite,green on the seats looks bad just too much contrast against the silvers. what was the price? would guess around 500k

Not to be partial, but I really liked the 35 Fountain. Mainly because the cockpit is a drastic change from the many previous yrs. Is that Volvo drive a 'puller'? |

US1, Yes the Volvo drive pulls. I agree with you on the 35 Fountain cockpit and the paint scheme was nice. What bothered me about the boat was the way the cockpit was pushed so far foward it looked out of proportion. The deck was the same as a 29.
As for the Cigarette, when I first saw the pictures in the mags I thought the green was ugly. After seeing it in person I agree that is a badazz looking boat. ...and I don't really like the color green that much. |

The Cig was definetely a show favorite for me! Lot's of clear on that boat, you couldn't feel any lines in the paint. Dealer gave me a price in the $5's for the boat and low/mid $4's on a trade set up as is. THey also said that Cig told them the boat runs 104 but the best they saw so far was 101 mph.
I didn't notice the Fountains were dirty as others said but the 35' looked small... I didn't even realize it was a 35' until I saw the brochure on the dashboard and asked the salesman. I did like the interior on it though, the creme color is good for stains etc. When I was leaving the booth one of the salesmen flagged me down. Asked me if I saw anything that interested me, I said "no". He then asked me if I was more into "fishing boats", I smiled and said; "No, I have a 36' Apache." He then asked me if I was interested in a trade so I told him that I didn't see anything that interested me and walked away... :) ;) |
