Yellow. Charcoal will get very hot when out in the sun. My fiancee always gets burned on the cabin and on the leather when the boat sits outside for a long time. Although, in Texas its a lot hotter so it may not matter for you

Between the two, I'd go Char/Red.
I'd actually prefer the same scheme with an electric blue instead of red.
I think the days of purple/yellow are becoming dated very soon.
Before long, purple/yellow is gonna start looking like teal/pink from the early 80's.
The base primary colors with shading (grays/black) will always be classic.
