Fairness has nothing to do with my statement.
I started operating heavy equiptment when I was 18 years old, I will be 53 in May. I have worked as an Operating Engineer in Local 825 for almost 35 years. I've lost count of the hundreds of different machines in tens of thousands of different types of work situations over the decades. When you work out of a hiring hall you get that kind of experience. And along with that you will come to know heavy equiptment and it's potential. Not to mention your ability to operate it.

I worked as a Ag salesman in the 80's. Deere is by far the best Farm equipment in industry. Great company

So is my 90 year old Aunt Helen, but when it comes to 30' excavations with a John Deere 600 in a landfill, experience is always best.

Growing up farming and ranching we owned many JD, New-Holland, Allis chalmbers, & Kubota. The JD was our choice on the larger tractor but Kubota makes a nice midsize tractor for the money. The new John Deers are nice but too much crap you don't need. The Best tractor we ever owned was a 1972 3020 John Deer it is worth more today then we gave for it.
