This is why I thought it strange to be issued a title at the time of purchase - never payed attention to the lender lien on it.

Now that I've moved south of the OH river, I'll be paying off a vehicle in the next few months (purchased and reside in Kentucky) - do they send me a new title with no lien from the lender?? Do I have to apply for a new title??
I had to turn over my title and they sent me a memo on my boat, when you payoff your vehicle you should recieve the real title from the Bank that had the lein on it, the title will be stamped lein canceled

I'm sorry, but I have to send a reply...

I have a nickname for Mr. Bill...it's

High-On-Ass !!!!!

No, he is not in jail. He is currently selling real estate in Coral Gables, FL.

His name has been mentioned in here many times.

To the person who started this thread, call your bank and ask for their Legal Department. More than likely, you have 2 boat loans and more than likely, you will end up being boat-less.

Unfortunately, I feel it will take years for all of this to be worked out. Whether or not Bill ends up in jail remains to be seen.

Just a update on this deal! I still have my Fountain and the bank sold my warlock for 60% of what I owed. Its been 2 years and they still have not come after me nor has my credit been damaged. I have had phone calls from several banks that bought the load but that it. My fountain has a clear title. any sugestions?

Craig, I live in Apollo Beach too...were are you? I've not seen another Fountain in Apollo Beach other than my neighbors 47 and the 38LX and 31TE along with my 38TE..all 3 being fish boats.
