It'll be heading back this way after the Sarasota run next month (for a while) to do a couple of local "heat of the summer" Texas runs ---- then back to "Poker Run Central" aka Florida for Destin, Sarasota again, KW, and maybe Stuart, SOTW and LOTO.

But, you will most likely see my old boat runnin' around all summer. Careful.... the new owner's driving/docking skills aren't as good as the previous owner's! LOL.....

525SC or 525EFI cam??????

The 525SC cam is similar in size to zz502 cam.

The 525EFI cam is a Crane roller 741 on a 114 lobe sep.

I would think either would work. You would need retrofit roller lifters, sorter push rods, different timing chain set, and probably different valve springs for the 525EFI cam. I would guessimate a 25-35hp gain with the 525EFI cam and little or none with the 525SC cam.

Thanks Griff

i have already done the retro fit to roller lifter/rockers and am running gm performance aluminum heads that are duel spring i am not sure of the tension.I believe these are the heads that edelbock made for gm. so basically i would be better off having a cistom grind done?
