Default Spectre back on the race scene

Was just reading my new EBM (great job Ron!) and was pleased to read that Scott Conrad is teaming up with JT and Doug Wright to build a 40 Super cAt.

Great News!!

Isn't the race boat 42'? I thought they were doing a 40' as more of a poker run boat and the race boat was gonna be 42'
Anyway rumor has it, its coming along nicely

Saw images of the finished hull at the LA show- very impressive to say the least.

I saw the photos too. Very nice looking. Scott told me that they were hoping to have it ready for the first race next month.

Spectre makes a great boat-- but Scot will bring them to the next level for sure.

You got that right!
I remember reading that just in setup (x-dimension etc) that SC had a 32 going almost 10MPH faster than Jay

Nothing Jay couldnt have done, it was just the knowledge that Scot has knowing it would improve the boat.

I’m confused. (Happens a lot) I thought Doug had is own company manufacturing cats, and was working on a larger boat! I sure would like to have Doug and JT working on a boat for me!
