The two hatches are gasketed and dog down mighty tigh, maybe thats why no escape hatch. Considering the entire canopy was fabbed from one sheet of carbon fiber I would "assume" it is mighty strong...

I met Bill Pyburn at the OL booth yesterday and he said that he has not tested the boat and didn't allude to Mike testing the boat yet either. He also told me that the power is producing over 1800 HP per side. He may do the Miami Boat Show run with it next week if they can get it tested, dialed in, and ready and he will defiantly be at the Sarasota run at the end of March beginning of April.

1. OInly 3 steps?
2. Aluminum rams on the rudder not stainless?
3. Enclosed Cockpit with no escape hatch? 6 people seating with no escape?
4. Cockpit inner liner? All the water runs to the rear of the boat. How do you get the water out from underneath the inner liner?
5. 1800hp turbo motors in a pleasure boat? Is that a 2 hr motor?

I have more questions..
I think Sharkey has all the pictures that were posted on Boatfreaks.Org. If not, you need to go there and look at the total build which will show you the entire design of the boat. Those should explain some if not all of your questions.

Its not a Turbo

I have more questions..
1. Michel peters did the design work on it,, it is one of his bottoms do a search on tencra, callen, spirit of Norway, victory, platinum, and see how many wins.
2. its stainless
3.there is a escape hatch in the tunnel the carpets covers it up... and taken out before the boat is going to go fast
4. this is not outerlimits first boat i don't know if you have seen but they have built some nice boats in the past.. there is a ton of ways for water to pass. i have seen 1st hand before the liner was put in.
5. the motors made more than 1800 (i was there watching the dyno runs) the motors will be detuned but not much, there are 3 pairs of these motors out there with much more than 2 hours
whats your other question's

And getting more as more people attend the show...

I just added another Slide Show that gives more detail of the paint work. Thanks to Scott B.
