Well said Bill. I am a HUGE MTI fan, but the OL really blew the doors on the other stuff I think.

Bill, don't get me wrong I love your boat, just commenting on the fact that I don't think Nortech blew it, they make a neat cat, yes I agree safety is number one at those speeds.no doubt the OL will run and has been designed by some of the best. Can't wait to hear how it performs, See you at the shootout.

Bill your boat is it period. Also you finally have a trailer that does not flex and tilts the boat where it needs to be.

We were told that it's owned by a guy who owns a mall and plans display it suspended from the ceiling.

Yes, he owns alot of realestate, and is considering suspending it and not using it. It so, he will just build another to go boating with.

I think people just don't like the cartoon part of the Bat boat. I hope that's it because MTI is way behind Nor tech and that is WRONG and real sad.
Bills OL is right on it.

i do not think he was talking about the squadron turbine boat but another boat..

The Ol has a full interior, generator, ac,stereo system and all the amenities that a Skater or MTI would have. As far as being run I am sure that the boat will do just fine. It is not like OL cut a section out of a larger boat. They hired a real naval architect to design the bottom. By the way how fast has that bottom gone in the last three years at the shootout. I think Nor-tech builds a fine product, but the question posed has more to do with the over all package ie looks, innovation, tooling guality, fit and finish.I don't think it has to with the builder.

well said.
besides just to be part of
the ol camp is priceless.

good luck with the new piece.
