Fountain Miami Show sales
 

I know there were many deals written w/ real deposits. I saw them as they were being added up.

Funny ... I "claim" $20 Million in sales from the boatshow also and I wasn't even there.

I guess they better hire back the 150 people they layed off a few weeks ago! WOO-HOO!!!!!!!!:rolleyes:

Reggie was so excited by the huge sales numbers in the booth he was falling asleep in the PRA Safety Summit Meeting :D

So that would be 70 $275,000 boats and change...

Almost Twenty sales a day at the show....

Any shareholders want to see the deposits?

Any of those approximately seventy five person on this board?

im sure they included the mandatory dealer orders in that figure as well

Why would these orders be included in the show number, mandatory dealer orders are done in the previous fall, correct?

Good call GLH....those are amazing numbers for Fountain 70 275K in 4 days :eek: :rolleyes: Hell thats more than Bayliner did and they usually have the most dollars in sales at any given show

It's all BS and you guys know it. If my memory serves me correctly...last year they (Fountain) reported that they sold 17 million at the Miami show.


But....according to their annual report, they sold 20 or 22 million for the entire quarter!! :rolleyes: What happened, did they basically take the rest of the quarter off????:rolleyes: :eek: :drink:

They did have an area behind the glass to do deals and when I went by all the desks were full with dealers and people. I think it was Regie in his racing pajamas that hooked everyone in. :evilb: If he was a little more humble, lost the bling and didn't were the pajamas, I think he would sell even more boats.

I was personally at the Fountain booth and they had allot of dealers there and were ready to talk. That # could be correct if they include the dealer orders. Personally the #s I was quoted at the show were 80K higher than you could buy a brand new Fountain on dealer websites. So take that for what you want.:drink:

Nowadays, with a public company, too many outrageous financial claims and Reggie will have to trade in his racing PJs for more stylish prison attire.

At Concept we sold 1.8 million at the show on the average sale of 105K to 150K per boat. All solid deals, all our bigger models, baffeled to say NONE were our 23' or 27' and the number does not count what orders were taken for dealer stock. If I counted dealer sales, (all of my dealers but 2 have ordered the new 30 sportdeck), I can see where Fountain would do 20 million as our dealer Shogren told us he had written a 47' Fountain and was working a 2nd on Saturday, I'm sure that boat is more than 275K.
What is reported at boat shows is retail sales, what's in an annual report is wholesale numbers; and, it is possible for a manufacturer to pull almost 100% of their sales from the Miami show for the quarter because a manufacturer can only count what was built and went out the door and was paid for. Even though the 18M from Mia last year was reported at show time, the boats were spread out in the build schedule and some maybe not even delivered till the 3rd quarter.
I was busy and did not get to see Reggie's PJs although I heard about them. Anyone have a picture of that?

I thought your new 30 sport deck was nicely done , great boat. Overall the whole Concept line is a great product. Why would you be so concerned w/ Fountain's sales? You even posting about their product or sales is a mystery to me.

We all know they ALL lie public or private company. I could care less how many boats Fountain or anybody sold at the show.
I do know when I was there on Saturday all the CC's were sold and the red 35 Lightning sold to the guy that was on it with me. I saw it go down and papers being written up and they went off to go do the $ part. Also that day 2- 38's by OSO board members were bought from my local Fountain dealer.

I talked with a fountain rep after the show on monday and the number of boats sold was 59. Guessing that most of the boats were $275k plus, this would easily amount to the 16 to 20 million dollar range.

No reason to blast Concept, I appreciate the way that she explained dealer sales reporting to all of us non boat dealers!
Explaining how Fountain reports boat show sales makes perfect sense now! Chill.....

I guess some of you are just sensitive. I didn't blast Susan or Concept. I know Susan and we did business in the past , we've never had any issues. I was simply wondering why she would be concerned w/ Fountain. Maybe Reggie(The King) will come on here and post about Concept's boat sales , not!:eek:

"he explained" - that would be a "she" - no blast taken and pretty common to think boat manufacturer's are against one another; however, some of us think differently.

Geezz no big deal...I didn't post on Fountain's sales, I posted on Concept's sales and how it works. And, of course I'm interested in what "the king" is doing..lol I rarely come on here and wouldn't know Reggie's handle no more than I knew yours Brian till I went to your website...I thought you were living in Sarasota now?
