Hi Mike,

Not ready to sell just yet as I finally found a 4.3L Mercury V6engine complete with everything including all wiring, transom plate, gimble and Alpha 1 outdrive.

Hopefully going to drop it in soon.

I'll post some pics when I do.

Does anyone know where any of the Scarab Jets that were used by Universal Studios in the Miami Vice Action Spectacular are now?

Default Scarab Jet/ Volvo Penta PJX

Anybody know where I can get parts for the waterjet? Here's some pics. I'm missing the impeller and a few parts inbetween.

Default Scarab Jet

Hi Air Dog. Why did you put in a new V6 and alpha drive? What was the original power and outdrive? I have a 19' with 4.3 and PJX waterjet and need to replace the waterjet. I'm looking for replacement options. Any suggestions?

Next step is remove bottom paint, then drop a new 4.3 (225hp) V6 in her and slap an Alpha drive on.

Hoping to hit 60mph with stock power.

Here is another pic...

The boat originally had a 4.3 with an Alpha.

That is the best combination I believe for speed and over all utility.
