Just wanted to respond the the many questions about the Better Biodiesel Sponsorship. The fuel sponsor encountered some financial troubles that prevented them from continuing their support to provide fuel for the race. To continue would have been fiscally detremental to the company and we appreciate all of the support they have been able to provide towards the cause.

With help from enthusiasts like yourself, we have been able to secure fuel sponsorship and/or funds to purchase fuel successfully in the past few months. We just need a whole lot more to continue with the race. Any support would be greatly appreciated. Why not make history and be a crew member during the record attempt and sponsor a race leg? I piloted this boat from Miami to Puerto Rico a few weeks back and all I can say is "watch out world record, here we come!"
