What the Hell is a tech nine(9) pistol????
 

A buddy of mine is going to sell one and I can't find a picture of one anywhere. Any web site know of?

It's a crap quality gun. also known as Intra Tech If I remember correctly. My friend had 1 and it always jammed. The gangs in the inter cities always used them cause they were cheap high capacity guns. 9mm you could get a clip to hold 40 rounds it's a look alike assault machine gun. stay away from it buy a real gun > Smith/Wesson or Heckler-Koch or Glock :D :D

the tech 9 is if I am not mistaken used for urban hunting because it is a cheep weapon. and I have NEVER had my smith jam on me

It is a sorry jamming pos! Very inacurrate and prone to not fire when you want it to. They used to sell for $239 before all the "ban the assault weapons" went in to effect.

ScarabRick. Honestly, you dont even want to be associated with owning one. They have one purpose, high capacity scum gang crap. Also, you would never want one to protect youself with. As the others said they jam and are crap. If you want to own something reliable for self defense buy a Glock which are lowerer in price and reliable, or, treat yourself to a nice H&K. (I shoot competition with an H&K, and have many friends that use Glock....both are flawless). Also, no matter what you may go for, try a 40sw caliber.

I carry a full size frame S&W 10mm at work. Has never failed to fire nor has it jammed in at 3,000 rounds. I also carry it on the boat as an emergency anchor :)

Get yourself a Kimber and be done with it. The HK, Sig's and Glocks are also a nice choice ;)

I have a sig p226 night sights and two 15 shot clips I gave $500 and its an excellent gun. I also have a Glock 19 that was a refurbished West Palm Beach PD gun. I only gave $300 for it and use it for a concealed carry gun. My wife has a Walther ppk 380. I would recomend any of these guns. None of them jam but if you arent careful the slide on the Walther will get your knukle on your thumb and remove all the skin (ouch). If you've got the money, Buy the KIMBER!!!

Last I heard the special forces were carrying H/Ks. I have a couple of these, and it is a VERY high quality gun. I also agree wit everyone else, you can't go wrong with a Kimber. I also agree that you should stay away from the Tek-9. I had one once. They are truly junk!

I owned 2 HK's a 9 and a .40 and they were both very nice guns but I have smaller hands and they have very large grips. Glock seems to have a very canted grip so I am not fond of them although they are great guns.

I have a Sig P220 in .38 Super and I love it. Also a S&W 1006 10mm. Both fit me well because of the single stack clips. The sig is a lot nicer gun. It's a bit like boats, buy what you like, but don't buy a that POS you friend is selling.

STAY AWAY from the Tech 9...get a real gun!

Another vote for Sig Sauer. Have the P230 and love it.

I agree stay away from the Tech 9. unless you want to stand around drinking 40's of malt liquor.

You get what you pay for in guns!!!!! Personally I love my ruger 9mm and Colt AR-15, Ruger could be more accurate, Colt is Dead ON.

Go with a 45ACP. I really like the new Kimbers but have had a Colt Ociffers model for a number of years. Whatever you get make sure you practice shooting it!

Thanks for the info. I had no idea they were a POS. I'll just stay with my taurus pt99, 9mm and my S&W 357. along with my Kel-tec 9mm and my target 22's pistols. Thanks again. Also, My friend is looking for a Glock 9mm any body have a good price on them? Looking thru shotgun news for some good pricing.

Wow...I must have the only Tec 9 in existance that doesn't jam! And I can shoot the eyes out of a sparrow at 50 yards with the thing. Always interesting to be at the gun range, slap in a 50 round clip, and start to shoot out the bullseye mark...it's like the air guns at the carnival when you shoot out the star!

I just use my DESERT EAGLE .50 as my primary carry, and CASSUL .454 as my backup (ankle) gun.

When I go to the range, I take out the bullseye, and most of the target with just one shot...

My Carry gun is a S&W 38 spec. It has a 3" Barrel and holds 5 shots. It also has a hammer cover so that you do not cock it by accident. I do not care what anyone says the only gun to carry is a revolver as it is the ONLY gun you can know is going to work EVERY time. I can toss it in my pocket or on my hip and NO ONE will know it is there. I DO NOT want anyone to know I am carrying, it can cause trouble for you. My favorite semi is my Sig 226 9mm. I have shot THOUSANDS of rounds through it and it has been flawless, not one missfire. For pin and plate I use my 38 special or my Dan Wesson 445 Super Mag. They get pissed when I use that because with the 380 grain bullets it rips the Plates off the table and explodes the pins into a million little bits. :D :D For Target it is my old High Standard 22.
