That is some crazy water. These larger vessels have ballast tanks that are filled/empty depending on load.. it seems like that vessel was empty (as in no passengers) and the ballast tanks empty as well.. it was really high in the water.

I would actually fell a lot safer in something smaller (45-50) feet that wouyld run through it at around 45, LOTs more control.
