I was looking through some old photos of the Shootout and saw the 32' version and was wondering how the 40' version is coming along. Anyone know?

Looks like it was on its way to be painted in January 2006.

3000+ hp WOW, can't wait to see it out on the lake.

The boat is actually a 36' with a tunnel extension. I think the boat will have twin 3000's. Should be a wild ride.

Anyone heard or have any recent pics or info.

The boat was at CMI for months getting the exhaust done. It is pretty elaborate in order to keep everything under the hatch, this way the aero of the boat is not disrupted. The boat is back at skater now getting some adjustments to the bottom in order to fit the bottle jacks.

We wound up with this other little toy that has us distracted, and trying to outrun the "Junkman" with a little ol' small block.

With that much tunnel extension and the ride plates what length would it be? Is it built that way for just top speed? Its cool
